Welcome to RiverRock Counseling! For the past decade, I’ve been dedicated to helping individuals like you find hope, healing, and clarity as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). My journey into this field began with meaningful work on the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-TALK(8255)), where I had the honor of supporting individuals during some of their most vulnerable moments. Those conversations deeply inspired my passion for providing compassionate care and guiding others toward brighter days.

I earned my master’s degree in Co-occurring Recovery Disorders Counseling from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN, in 2021. Shortly after, I relocated to the Brainerd, MN area to embrace a closer connection with my family and the natural surroundings. As a dually licensed professional in Minnesota, I hold credentials as both a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
My experience spans a wide range of challenges, including trauma, life transitions, complicated grief, depression, anxiety, and more. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, a specialized approach for addressing the symptoms of trauma.
I believe that you are the expert in your own life. I see therapy as a collaborative journey, where you are in the driver’s seat and I’m here in the passenger seat to help navigate. My role is to assist in finding the direction you want to go, organizing the tools you already possess, and introducing new strategies when needed. This is your journey, and we will only explore paths that align with your comfort and goals.
My ultimate aim is for you to leave each session feeling that you’ve made meaningful progress toward your therapeutic goals. Along the way, you’ll gain the tools and insights necessary to continue your journey with confidence and self-reliance.
